HAMS AND BACON

WESTPHALIAN HAM - Westphalian Hams - Westphalian hams are the German equivalent of Italian Proscuitto ham, but with some key differences. While Proscuitto is a relatively poor cut of meat (the bottom of the leg, below the hock) that has been dried out, aged, and then cured, Westphalian hams are made with a finer cut of meat (the top of the leg, with slight marbling) that has been smoked and cured. The result is a mild, slightly sweet, delicate ham that will impress friends and family in any application.
